To keep you up to speed...

Well it's been a few weeks since my last post and the dates have still been happening.... However I have met a few from different places and am now not really on RSVP. That being said I was still in contact with Kix and Michael for a while. In fact Michael is still messaging me but I think Kix got the hit after a few weeks that I just wasn't that into him. Michael and I have been messaging every few days since our date but haven't seemed to be able to get our act together.

As nothing was really happening with any of the guys of RSVP I asked a girlfriend if she wanted to come speed dating with me (I had been before but she hadn't). She was keen to come so we booked for last Thursday night. The event was made up of 3 groups of different ages. The group I was in with my friend Vic was women 29 to 34 (we lied about our age) and men 35 to 40 and we were the red group. In each group there were 12 men and 12 women. The women all stayed in the one seat for the night while the men moved around and spoke to each women in their group. I did find the quality of men as good as I had the previous time and only ticked yes for 2 out of my 12 dates. The following morning I checked my email for my matched and saw that I had one. This mean that he had also ticket yes for me.

His name was Conrad and I couldn't for the life of me remember him as I had ended up having a bit to drink. I knew he was bald or had a shaved head and was tanned and I thought that if I had said yes he must have been good looking and that we had at least gotten a long. The same day I got the email about the match I also got an email from Conrad, so I replied. And we emailed back and forth all weekend.

That Saturday night I had to go to work at a club in the city. As it turns out there was a cute guy Rack that a Latino ( it was a Latino night at the club) who stood and talked to me for a while. He ended up writing his number on a piece of paper and said for me to call him before he left. The next day I thought I may as well message Rack to say hi. So I did and and asked me out for a coffee. I had plans that day so we said we would meet up the following Sunday.

The next few days (Monday and Tuesday) were spent emailing Conrad back and forth. He seemed like a really nice guy and in one of the emails asked me if I liked the ballet. I said 'yes, of course' and he mentioned that he had been given tickets if I wanted to go with him on Thursday night. I can't tell you how over the moon I was. I mean my whole last relationship all I ever wanted was for my boyfriend to want to take me to things like the ballet and here I was with this guy wanting to take me on my first date. Yeah....
